About NHRA: NHRA Overview

CONNECT, EXCEL, LEAD with NHRA!

Established in 1951, the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) is focused on advancing the development and leadership of human resource professionals. Through professional programs and services offered across the country, we strives to support human resource professionals throughout their career life cycle - from intern to executive - as Human Resources leads the way for change in today's businesses.

CONNECT:   The misson of our Board of Directors is to serve and support our members and affiliates by providing networking forums and professional development programs for the human resources community.  At NHRA events, you will meet individuals from companies of all sizes and industries.  Our non-solicitation policies allow you to spend time getting to know business professionals and building valuable relationships.

EXCEL:   The human resources profession has changed dramatically in the past century. Gone are the days when HR's primary functions were hiring, policing and paper pushing. In today's dynamic workplace, human resource professionals are expected to add value to their organizations. In addition to managing traditional human resource functions, Human Resources is expected to contribute to such key organizational challenges as facilitating mergers and acquisitions, improving productivity and quality, improving the ability of an organization to bring new products to market, and to continuously improve the company's return on its greatest asset...its people.  We are pleased to provide professional development opportunities via live meetings in our affiliate locations and via conferences and seminars delivered in conjunction with our training partners. Additionally, we offer a wide range of on-demand, webcast and audiocast events.  The increased knowledge you will gain from NHRA programs will help you and your HR team deliver strategic, value-added services to your organization.

LEAD:  Through your NHRA networking and educational efforts, you will develop skills that will enhance your value as a leader.  The National Human Resources Association is your
career partner...together we can lead the way to the future of human resources!
