About Us

The Rochester Affiliate of NHRA provides an active forum for the exchange of information and ideas related to Human Resources. In addition to the advantages of national membership, Rochester Affiliate members enjoy quality monthly programs and a supportive environment for networking, professional  development and community involvement.  NHRA–Rochester also has an active local job posting system.

NHRA-Rochester has sponsored periodic half-day professional development seminars designed to update Human Resources professionals on key legislative changes, build/develop business skills and enhance leadership skills. We are also very proud to have partnered with the local SHRM and ASTD chapters as well as the  Rochester Business Alliance to present a Rochester HR Conference.

Monthly meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month. Cash or checks made payable to NHRA-Rochester Affiliate; unfortunately, we cannot accept credit cards. Receipts are available for reimbursement purposes. Membership
Membership is a way of demonstrating your commitment to professional growth and development. Opportunities exist for further development of individual leadership skills by assuming various roles in the organization. Most importantly, NHRA is a great way for you to connect with other HR Professionals! Members enjoy and value the friendships and professional associations they have made. Networking contacts can be an on-going source of information and opportunity for years to come.

Our members are from all  sectors; including healthcare, service, financial, manufacturing, government and non-profit. Members tell us that the primary benefits to membership are the relationships that are developed, interactive meeting forums and the development of leadership skills.

Membership in the National Human Resources Association is granted by each location or by the National Human Resources Association Executive Committee without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability or sexual orientation.

Membership dues, as determined by each location, include both local and national membership. Membership dues are typically payable annually. Rochester membership dues is as follows:.

New Members (Includes a one-time $25 application fee)
Regular Member $125
Student Member $50 (application fee waived)
Corporate Member $310

Renewing Members (Payable on the anniversary of the effective date of your membership)
Regular Member $100
Student Member: $ 50
