NHRA-Ventura County
Announces Scholarship Program
Purpose/Mission
The purpose of the NHRA Scholarship Program is to foster excellence in human resources by encouraging and assisting in the professional development of our members.
General Information
• NHRA-VC will present up to $3,000 in awards per year. The Board will determine the number of awards on a yearly basis.
• Each award will not exceed $500 (tuition, fees and books only).
• Applicants who receive reimbursement from an employer or other source are eligible to receive an amount that matches the applicant-paid portion up to $500.
• Scholarship winners pay fees in advance and will receive reimbursement upon proof of completion with a grade of C or better.
• Scholarships will be applied to courses taken within one year from the date
of award or will be forfeited.
Eligibility
• Only members of the NHRA are eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in (or planning to enroll in) an HR or business-related class at a recognized educational institution in a graduate, undergraduate or HR certificate program.
