NH LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
NHRA-NH offers a variety of leadership opportunities for its members through service on our Board of Directors or as a member of one of our committees.
We value the contributions of our volunteers – what strength do you have that you want to utilize more or, what strength do you want to develop? Contact one of the individuals named below to discuss what opportunities exist for YOU.
President-Elect
Works closely with and supports the President in roles/activities that provide training for the Presidency;
- Assists in developing agenda for Board meetings;
- In the absence of the President, presides over meetings and performs presidential functions as required;
- Works with the Affiliate’s Executive Committee to identify and nominate members to fill positions on the Affiliate’s and NHRA National’s Boards and coordinates the distribution of nomination and election documents;
- Assists the President in preparing for NHRA’s National Board’s semi-annual strategic planning meetings; and
- May preside as Executive Officer over one or more Affiliate committees or task forces.
- This role involves approximately 1-2 hours per week.
Membership/Hospitality Committee:
- Greet visitors at meetings and introduce them to members;
- Follow up with non-members who attend Affiliate events;
- Assist with membership drives;
- Assist with updating the Affiliate’s membership database; and
- Assist with updating/expanding the non-member database.
- These roles involves approximately 1-3 hours per month.
Program Committee:
- Assist with the planning and delivery of monthly program meetings
- Coordinate speakers for NHRA event, confirm AV requirements
- Prepare event notices for distribution to NHRA mailing list
- Coordinate speakers gifts for monthly events
- Prepare program-related correspondence as needed
