Welcome to NHRA-New Jersey About Our Affiliate
The National Human
Resources Association - New Jersey has been serving human resource professionals
in the New Jersey area for many years. NHRA strives to advance the development
of human resource professionals. Through programs and services, NHRA-NJ
supports human resource professionals throughout their career life. We
are actively seeking Human Resources professionals of all levels who may
be interested in participating in the development, operation and growth
of this location. Whether you are interested in membership, serving on
a committee or serving on the Board of Directors, we'd like to hear from

Monthly dinner meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm at The Holiday Inn of Tinton Falls, 700 Hope Road, (just off Exit 105 of the Garden State Parkway), Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 (phone: 732-544-9300 ) . Meeting fees are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Cash or checks made payable to NHRA-NJ are welcome; unfortunately, we cannot accept credit cards. Receipts are available for reimbursement purposes. NHRA-NJ NEWS 2006 marked the inauguration of the NHRA-NJ Human Resources Excellence Award. The award is issued annually to the New Jersey human resources program that best exemplifies the NHRA values of excellence, connection, and leadership. The first annual NHRA-NJ Human Resources Excellence Award winner is Seasonal Retail Services (SRS), 1090 King Georges Post Road, Suite 104, Edison, New Jersey. SRS met the challenge of creating a human resource department “from scratch” in mid-August 2005, in response to the explosive growth of its workforce resulting from its receipt of major contract from a major national retail home center. Within a year, SRS had established a complete, modern human resources program that allows the company to field a productive work team. SRS boasts 90% success rate on unemployment appeals and has not faced a single employment-related lawsuit in its history. SRS’ human resources program is vital to its success, and serves as a perfect example of how a professional, competent human resource program truly adds to the “bottom line.” Membership
