We are living through truly unprecedented times with the dramatic global impact COVID-19 has had on our work, our communities, our family, and every facet of how we go about our daily lives. As Human Resource professionals, we are challenged with helping the business navigate unchartered waters to respond to the ever changing environment. I am thankful and grateful to belong to an amazing HR community that supports each other, especially during these difficult times. I encourage you to take advantage of the resources and relationships you have built through your HR community.
In an effort to support our membership we are collecting and posting COVID resources on our website so that you have an easy one stop place for information. This is a work in progress and we will continue to add resources and links. Also, one of the significant benefits you have as a NHRA member is access to ThinkHR. ThinkHR provides tools and guidance with content, technology and advice HR professionals need to support their businesses. In addition, they have created a COVID resource center which they have opened to include non-members. It is a great time to be a member of our NHRA community.
I also wanted to give you an update on our website. As many of you know, we have experienced significant challenges with our site. We regret any of the inconvenience your interaction with our site has caused you in the past. It is of utmost importance to us that our website delivers an excellent online experience for our members. To uphold this commitment, we assumed the task of completely rebuilding our website and relaunching it earlier this year. While there are still minor adjustments we need to address, I am happy to report that we have successfully launched! Challenges with registration, payments, and notifications have been corrected. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
I know these are trying times and what still lies ahead may seem daunting, however, I am heartened by acts of courage and kindness and how I have seen communities pull together. We have a unique role and responsibility in supporting our human resources now more than ever. We have an amazing community and I hope and pray that you and your families remain healthy and safe.
