Benefits & Payroll Administrator

Summary
As the Benefits & Payroll Administrator, you will be part of the HR Team. You will serve as the main resource for processing payroll & administering the firm’s benefits using the Human Resources Information System, Workday. You will report to the HR Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Payroll-Related Duties

Process the bi-weekly payroll (i.e. direct deposit, tax changes, adjustments)
Maintain the time and attendance through Workday
Maintain the Human Resource Information Systems (Workday)
Resolve any payroll tax issues
Payroll reporting

Benefit-Related Duties

Employee Benefits Administration (vendor relationships, compliance, EAP, medical, dental, life, disability, FSA, HSA, COBRA, and advising employees on questions and claims)
Help with the annual open enrollment process
Benefits billing – tracking, processing, and reconciliation for 3rd party vendors
Help with 401k plan administration
Track and process tuition reimbursements
Assist with leave tracking (FMLA, Disability, Workers Compensation), including staying up to date with several federal and state leave laws
Coordinate wellness activities/programing

Miscellaneous

New Employee Orientations
Design, prepare and distribute various bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Respond to employee day- to-day questions in a timely and professional manner
Maintain information on HR Intranet Site (SharePoint)
System updates
Special projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
2+ years’ experience in the benefits and/or payroll field
Advanced Word and Excel including Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP
Math aptitude with an ability to analyze numbers
