Lutheran Hour Ministries is seeking to fill a Chief Human Resource Officer position. The CHRO oversees three main functions: Strategic HR leadership for the organization, Organization Development efforts, and management of the human resources function.
Strategic HR leadership includes developing and executing a human resources strategy that supports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This includes the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
Organization Development includes the development or provision of effective training programs, facilitates implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, and measures performance to gauge effectiveness of programs. Responsible for continually building the company’s stock of human capital and encouraging employee development.
Responsible for all areas of Human Resources including: recruiting, orientation, HR related policies, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and development and employee services. Ensures the organization is in compliance with current applicable HR regulations.
A wide degree of creativity, latitude, and autonomy is expected.
