Director of Human Resources

The Cesar Chavez Foundation (CCF) is seeking a proactive Human Resources Director with the ability to effectively manage and supervise the employees of the CCF Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will utilize their excellent communication skills and impartial judgment to appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve disputes. Serving under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Human Resources Director develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities for current and future organizational needs.

The ideal candidate will need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, impartial judgment, and an inclusive leadership style in order to fulfill their role as a Human Resources Director. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree. Ten (10) years of work experience in Human Resources is required. Possession of a Master’s degree in a Human Resources-related field or four (4) additional years of work experience in Human Resources is strongly preferred. The ability to speak Spanish is also preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
