The City of Euless seeks a skilled and dedicated servant leader who works well with other departments and embraces the “Euless Way.” As the primary position responsible for fulfilling the City Council’s goal of employing “high-quality, professional, service-oriented personnel,” the ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting education and training opportunities, cultivating future leaders, and engaging the area’s youth to encourage careers in municipal government. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader within the organization and utilize exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills in supporting both individual employees and City departments.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resource management, business or public administration, or a related discipline. The City seeks candidates with extensive, progressively responsible experience in human resource management. Experience working in local government as well as with AS/400 mainframe systems are strongly preferred. A combination of education and robust human resources experience will be considered. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is a plus.

Desired certifications include:

  • Professional or Senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR)
  • Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SCP)
  • International Public Management Association for Human Resources Certified Professional (IMPA-CP/SCP)
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)

The salary range for this position is $115,000 – $130,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
