Gresham Human Resources Director

Situated in Oregon’s East Multnomah County, Gresham started as a rural settlement in the mid-1800s. It remained primarily a farming community until the mid-20th century when its population began to increase exponentially. Today, Gresham is a burgeoning urban area that provides a high quality of life for its residents. With a current population of 111,000 people in 23.64 square miles, Gresham is now the fourth largest city in Oregon.

The city’s proximity to Portland, it’s located only 12 miles from downtown Portland, as well as easy access to highway, rail, shipping, and air transport gives it an edge in the global marketplace. Hood Medical Center, City of Gresham, and the Gresham Barlow School District.
