Screen and interview applicants for direct support professionals and other vacancies as needed. Assist in recruitment and job placement. Conduct reference checks and completes all necessary documentation for new hires, including, but not limited to, documentation for the NYS Justice Center. Attends open interviewing events in the community as requested.
Career Experience Description:
Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or related field with emphasis on interviewing or experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were required. Experience with computerized systems is required. An outstanding candidate without a degree will be considered. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to use discretion and independent judgment and to interpret and apply a variety of instructions, policies, and procedures.
