We are seeking a self-motivated candidate that is ready for the challenge to build up the existing HR team in this exciting role. The HR Generalist will have high energy, a positive attitude, customer experience approach, and adapt easily to change. We are seeking candidates that have a desire to learn and grow in high-volume, high-energy environment.

We are located in downtown St. Louis near Kiener Plaza and City Garden in the Gallery 720 building (formerly Laclede Gas Tower). Position Summary

In this recently added position, the HR Generalist will lead major HR initiatives across multiple companies. This includes but is not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and metrics.

Job Responsibilities

Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding, coordinating with various internal departments
Manage benefits administration including health insurance, 401k, open enrollment, and invoice reconciliation
Develop, track, and report on key HR metrics to highest level company leadership
Administer FMLA/leave tracking and processes, coordinating directly with employees out on leave
Prepare 401k and COBRA paperwork for separating employees
Manage employee relations
Maintain HRIS using UltiPro by Ultimate Software
Implement new and existing HR policies and procedures
Track and report affirmative action and EEO requirements
Administer, facilitate, and report on exit surveys and interviews
Administer employee recognition program
Monitor and respond to inquiries in the HR email inbox

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent strongly preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred
Experience in full benefits administration functions required
Experience with employee relations including managerial coaching and progressive discipline required
Experience using UltiPro by Ultimate Software preferred
Corporate or other office experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Evident practice of a high level of confidentiality
Superior writing skills, demonstrated or ability
Ability to work extra hours as needed
Ability to travel up to four times per year
