HVCC is looking for a Human Resource Manager that is passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated to the importance of their tradecraft. They need to be an expert in recruiting, hiring, maintaining and sourcing team members that will fit the Culture of the Club. Must be proficient in payroll processes, technology and well organized.
The HR Manager reports directly to the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer and works closely with other members of the Executive Team to lead in managing and maintain all personnel for the Club and the associated responsibilities that come with it. They oversee and assist the club management staff with recruitment, selection and new hire orientation (on-boarding) of new staff members. Maintains employee records and assures that applicable federal, state and local wage, workers’ compensation and related laws are followed, manages all group health, retirement and other club benefit programs. Assist and Contribute to good employee morale by driving the culture of the club and assisting with retention while helping the club achieve its personnel goals. Knowledge of modern office procedures and the ability to compile and maintain records is required. He/she needs to be an expert in their field but understands the importance of continued education in one’s self as well as all team members.
EDUCATIONAL AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree and HR Certification strongly preferred. Certification could be in one of the following: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CPLP and/or the equivalent of verifiable experience on the job.
