Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with administrating the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.

Job Duties
• Records employee information such as personal data, new hire information, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, termination data, and other pertinent HRIS system information.
• Maintains HR information in both manual and electronic formats.
• Writes, types, or enters information into the computer to prepare correspondence, statements, payroll, time & attendance, affirmative action, training, or other documents, copying data from one record to another.
• Sorts and files records.
• Addresses correspondence and distributes as necessary.
• Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail.
• Manages system for discontinuing solicitation mail.
• Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
• Maintains monthly ordering and reconciliation of bus passes.
• Assists employees with inquiries or directs them to the appropriate person and provides information to authorized persons.
• Provides Company information to employees through memoranda, bulletin boards, letters, e-mail, and other means.
• Coordinates or assists in coordinating various employee activities.
• Coordinates wellness activities and participates in Wellness Committee.
• Maintains confidentiality in all Human Resources transactions that occur.
• Assists in the administration of employee benefits packages and other clerical functions.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills/Technical Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• PHR or CEBS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, show attention to detail, and have a customer service mindset.

Experience
• 1-3 years related experience in human resources, reception, retail, service industry, or customer service or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products.

Education
• Associate’s degree (A. A.) with a concentration in Human Resources (or other related fields).
