Human Resources Generalist

Responsible for supporting the labor supply and talent development needs of the District Operations. The position advances employee retention and engagement, promoting a fulfilling work environment, and ensuring labor law compliance. Provides support with various professional and administrative level duties at the field level, including strategy implementation and analysis, employee relations, compliance, as well as field talent review and development. The role will support innovative data collection solutions by partnering with field operations and information systems in the effective delivery and implementation at the field level. The position supports and collaborates with key business partners such as Partners, product managers, ranch managers, crew leaders, and field employees to ensure operates its business based on values of Honesty, Fairness and Respect. Assist with talent review process for field operations and support the development of leaders to achieve business goals. Assist with Partner annual employee handbook revisions for field and admin handbooks. Audit for rest meal breaks and 7th workday compliance and provide necessary trainings. Coordinate COVID-19 compliance updates. Help support the Benefits Specialist with LOAs when needed. Conducts trainings for employees on New Policies, Procedures, Harassment Prevention training Assists with planning district company events.

Skills Required:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, presenting
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources, ER or related field

Skills Preferred

  • Bachelors degree in a related field, Business or Human Resources preferred
  • Production, manufacturing or agricultural experience a plus
  • Enjoys conducting training
