Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a variety of human resources programs and initiatives. This includes, but not limited to employee engagement, creating and maintaining job descriptions, performance management, administering compensation and benefits plans, open enrollment, organizing training, maintaining personnel files, workers compensation, leave of absence administration, main point of contact for employees’ questions on HR-related topics and crafting HR policies. Key areas of responsibilities include:

• Administer compensation and benefit plans
• Conduct employee on-boarding and help organize training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like employee engagement and employee turnover rates
• Prepare quarterly employee productivity tracker for the leadership team
• Prepare offer letters
• Prepare annual EEO-1 report
• Organize annual employee performance reviews
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum two years proven experience as an HR Generalist
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of California employment/labor laws
• Working knowledge of Google Docs a plus
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or relevant field
• Additional HR training will be a plus
