Ethos Human Capital Solutions was established in 2007 to provide consulting, training, and recruiting solutions to small and mid-size businesses. Our woman-owned business is growing, and we need a part-time HR Consultant to expand our services. This is a W-2 position.
The HR Consultant will use their CA labor law knowledge and HR experience to ensure that clients understand their options and risks, and to help them make decisions to effectively run their businesses. Typical services include: auditing the HR function for compliance and best practices; writing customized handbooks; handling employee relations issues including investigations; advising clients on wage & hour issues; evaluating jobs for proper FLSA classification; conducting anti-harassment training; implementing programs; and much more.
We provide services both onsite at the client location, as well as via email and phone. Most of our clients are located in Southern California, and the Consultant could be based in OC, Los Angeles, or the Inland Empire.

5-10 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 at the HR Manager level.
Good understanding of California labor laws.
Bilingual Spanish/English or Vietnamese/English is a huge plus.
