Payroll Processing Administrator (part-time)

Gleason Works is looking for a Payroll Processing Administrator (part-time) to join our team. This position will be between 16-24 hours per week.

In this role the Payroll Processing Administrator prepares and processes all payroll cycles for The Gleason Works-Rochester and Gleason Sales America Corporation. This position compiles and reviews payroll data including time worked, withholdings and deductions to maintain accurate records as well as prepares necessary governmental forms. This roll will also carry out other administrative Human Resources tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

~ Review and reconcile time and attendance records in HCM system; making necessary adjustments
~ Prepare and process payroll for multiple pay groups, states and entities
~ Maintain accurate payroll records in HCM system
~ Review and confirm payroll information sent to providers for benefit payroll deductions and contributions
~ Coordinate with HCM system provider to file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and forms; including W2 reconciliation
~ Keep up-to-date with payroll compliance for various types of pay, benefits, and regulatory reporting requirements on a federal and state level
~ Process payroll related information for new hires and terminations to ensure proper payments
~ Respond to employment verification requests
~ Coordinate activities and prepare records associated with internal and external payroll related audits
~ Perform other payroll or human resources tasks as assigned

Preferred Education/Training/Experience:

~ High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, or Business Administration preferred.
~ Minimum 2 year(s) related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Computer Skills:

~ Payroll Software, Human Capital Management (HCM) or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
