Manager, People Operations & Benefits

Auction.com, the nation’s largest live and online residential real estate auction marketplace, is searching for a Manager of People Operations & Benefits to be an integral part of our People Operations Team. In this role you will be responsible for important aspects of our HR Shared Services function that encompasses creating and scaling the foundational systems, policies and processes that enable flawless execution of HR transactions and ownership of employee benefits to build and maintain competitive and effective benefits programs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsible for general HR Shared Service operations which includes employee benefits and wellness programs, policy & compliance, system and process optimization, HR data & data analytics, and employee document management.
Responsible for the strategy and execution of key benefits initiatives which include annual renewal, open enrollment, and wellness programs.
Manage company benefits programs which include health insurance, retirement, disability plans, and wellness programs.
Manage benefits administration including billings, reconciliations, audits, cost analysis, enrollment process, plan compliance and outside carrier/vendor management.
Must be able to execute the administration through leading, training and leveraging team members.
Serve as the go-to person for any HR-related matters including benefits and payroll.
Develop and implement new or improved processes and SOPs for the team to ensure consistency and efficiency within the people operations department, and to improve HR service delivery.
Partner with HRIS to maintain all people technology tools, identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and encourage employee and manager self-service.
Support identifying and reporting regularly on HR-related KPIs.
Optimize and maintain all people operations processes from onboarding to offboarding.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are in accordance with company initiatives and applicable laws and regulations.

What You’ll Bring (Education & Experience):

Advanced knowledge of national health care policies, HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA and associated reporting requirements essential
Strong experience administering benefits to organizations 500+ employees
The ability to influence and to speak to large groups
Proficiency with federal and state employment law
Experience with HRMS and comfortable with creating reports from HR systems
Advanced MS Excel capabilities (i.e., pivot tables, macros)
Intermediate experience with Visio
Experience tracking HR metrics
Ability to work under tight deadlines and demanding working conditions while maintaining professionalism.
Strong organization and time-management skills
7+ years of HR experience with minimum of 4 years of benefits management
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
