Physician Practice Recruiter

The Advanced Practice Provider Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of recruitment and staffing for advanced practice providers in the system to include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and CRNAs. Consults with the Medical Directors, Director of Advance Practice, Assistant Director of Advance Practice, and hiring managers on their staffing needs and developing and executing the appropriate talent search plan through print media, the internet, agencies, schools, community and professional organizations, recruiting events, referrals, and direct mail campaigns. Conducts pre-screening and qualifying of candidates, processes internal and external applications for employment, coordinates and conducts interviews, performs reference checks, coordinates and extends employment offers and arranges for new hire orientation. Creates and maintains appropriate selection documentation and recruiting metrics.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. Experience may be considered, in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in healthcare recruitment, credentialing or human resources with progressive responsibilities required.
Experience in provider recruitment preferred.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) required.
Certification as a Certified Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), is a plus.
