Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Career Description

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, responsibilities include full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, and selection and assist with overall recruitment strategy. Forges strong relationships with business unit leaders across the organization and understand how each department works in order to define what “best” looks like for any given role. A hands-on recruiter with the ability to find top talent for niche, hard to fill roles. Conducts industry and market research to gain knowledge on roles. Manages multiple roles at a time across the credit union and delivers results in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, support and mentor the overall talent team and be involved in multiple projects that support our strategic goals and overall vision. Be a culture champion for the credit union and often the first impression for our candidates. Understand the value and impact of a superior candidate experience and contribute towards innovative processes to streamline and enhance those experiences. Build and maintain strong talent pipeline to meet the needs of our business. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Career Experience Description

What We Require:
Bachelor degree in Human Resources or equivalent education and experience. Minimum five (5) years recruiting and sourcing experience for non-exempt and exempt level positions in a large corporate environment required. Advanced recruitment/employment experience including recruitment technology stack. Expert in working with an ATS. Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws including, EEO and FLSA. Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly MS Word and Excel. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent communication and verbal skills. Able to manage several projects simultaneously. Able to work independently with minimal supervisor and to meet deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Financial institution and / or credit union recruiting experience. SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification or working towards certification. Ability to conduct presentations to all levels including executive management. Experience using various recruitment platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn. Familiar with crowd-sourced sites such as Glassdoor and Indeed. An innovative and forward thinking, proactive mindset to help meet the talent needs of today and the future. Thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state and NCUA regulations.
