Sr. Manager, University Relations

In this exciting role, the Senior Manager, Global University Relations will contribute by building and executing the recruiting strategy to deliver early career talent for the United States, with a future goal to continue to expand the programs globally within LATAM, EMEACLA, and JAPAC. Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Branding:

-Serve as the leader of our talent pipeline strategy and programs at the early and mid-career levels. The central point of contact for Development Program Associates, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition partners.
-Drive pipeline recruitment in partnership with the Campus teams; Lead the planning and execution of our University Relations programs and attend critical events to network with our industry’s top emerging talent as necessary.
-Event Management – plan and execute creative small to large scale events to source top talent.
-Partner with Employer Branding team in creating fun and exciting marketing materials which capture the spirit of our unique culture and promote our current and future opportunities.

Leadership:

-Talent Development – Identify professional development experiences for direct reports to meet business goals for a dynamic, engaged Campus team.
-Develop and monitor program infrastructure including program requirements, implementations projects, communications, training, and delivery support.
-Involved in program enhancements, strategy solutioning, and change management.
-Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to understand business need and relevant program application, and influence business and HR Leaders to adopt a strategic, enterprise approach to attracting, retaining and developing early talent.
-Research pipeline programs at other companies to ensure we’re competitive and positioned as an employer of choice.

Annual Program Management:

-Development of summer internship programs for undergraduate and graduate level interns, to include setting the agenda, securing keynote speakers, planning special events, midterm check-ins, presentation days and other similar functions.
-Communication and education to intern managers to guide them through effective intern project creation, onboarding and assimilation, goal setting and performance and development.
-Oversight of role identification and intern selection for conversions to full-time opportunities.
-Work collaboratively with Learning and Organizational Development team to onboard early careers/MBA hires into rotational development programs, including performance management, compensation/rewards strategies, and placement opportunities post-program.
-Develop metrics around program statistics, campus ROI, diversity and post-program impact.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, Communications, Sociology, Psychology is required
-A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in recruiting technical talent for large companies with a focus on strategy, innovation, workforce planning, analytics, and systems.
-A minimum of 5 years management experience required.
-Demonstrated experience managing undergrad/graduate intern programs, rotational programs, etc.
-Client management and relationship management ability, with the ability to manage multiple client expectations simultaneously (up to and including executive)
-Project Management/Organizational Skills
-Communication skills – verbal and written
-Ability to execute in an ambiguous environment
-Proven track record of building and managing teams, and managing local and remote teams.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
-Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Master’s degree is preferred.
-Significant experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or global recruiting preferred
