Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist

The Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist will be responsible for recruitment of all positions, new hire orientation, community engagement all with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). These responsibilities will span across PSE and affiliated entities which cross varying industries including but not limited to sports, retail, hospitality and business administration. The Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist will be responsible for supporting the organizational goals and vision throughout their role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruitment of all positions
  • Coordinates with hiring manager to understand and meet the department needs
  • Post jobs in relevant areas to drive large, diverse candidate pools
  • Maintain and update UKG recruiting platform
  • Create and provide regular reporting on recruitment data such as days to fill, diversity, etc…
  • Lead all seasonal job fairs both internal and external
  • Coordinates and administers onboarding and orientations for new hires both in person and virtually
  • Maintains, updates, creates and manages all Job Descriptions
  • Meet with Full Time New Hires at the 90-day mark for a formal touch base meeting
  • Focus on DEI – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Build relationships with colleges/universities – attend career fairs
  • Build relationships with community organizations
  • Craft postings/job descriptions and communications with DEI language in mind
  • Stay up to date on diversity trends and determine solutions to achieve diverse talent goals
  • Lead the Internship Program
  • Manage the LinkedIn Recruiter platform and utilize for recruitment efficiencies
  • Frequently view and provide feedback on Company website and Company LinkedIn career page
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with managers and employees
  • Drives employee culture
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and a min. 3 years’ experience in Human Resources with a focus on recruitment or 5 years direct HR and recruitment experience.
  • HRIS experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group/Ultimate Software) preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • PHR preferred
