The Training & Development Manager is responsible for the overall content development and coordination of GRB’s Training and Development Programs, providing high quality, relevant training at all stages throughout the employee life cycle. The Training Manager will work closely with the HR Manager and GRB leadership to assess bank-wide training needs and design, plan, and implement training and development solutions to fulfill those needs.

◾Work directly with HR Manager and leadership to identify and support strategic initiatives that will optimize workplace performance in support of business goals.
◾Review existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of employees, the organization, or the banking industry.
◾Identify broad Bank and job-specific training and development needs including the areas of soft skills, basic job and technical skills, systems and technology tools, etc.
◾Develop and deliver a wide variety of learning and development forums and ensure training is up to date, relevant, and engaging.
◾Act as resource to support managers and staff to solve specific learning and development needs.
◾Reconcile, monitor and report on Training expenditures.
◾Organize a variety of training data collection efforts and analyze and interpret data. Prepare quarterly and annual training reports for senior leadership.
◾In conjunction with HR team members, coordinate and sustain the Bank’s new hire onboarding program.
◾Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all matters relating to the Training & Development Function.
◾Maintain an updated curriculum database and training records.
◾Remain current in regard to learning and development trends and strategies.
◾Leverage different tools and technologies to design creative and engaging learning materials that are targeted, purposeful, and increase knowledge and skills for all employees
◾Assist HR Manager to ensure the Bank’s Leadership Development Program is sustained. Participate in content development and training facilitation as needed.
◾Develop monitoring systems to ensure training is delivered, tracked, and successful. Review and monitor all training programs for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
◾Identify and implement a Learning Management System (LMS) tool for training.
◾In conjunction with Risk and Compliance, oversee the online compliance training program for all employees.
◾Collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
◾Active participation in demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.
◾All other duties as assigned

◾ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, or a related field
◾ 5+ years’ in a learning and development/training role or demonstrated HR/employee relations experience.
◾ Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), HRIS and/or banking software strongly preferred.
◾ Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
◾ Banking or financial institution experience a plus.
