As the VP of Human Resources, you have a unique opportunity to drive implementation and continuous improvement of sound HR practices across affiliated agencies. The successful candidate must be able to:
•In collaboration with the CEO, president the other Vice Presidents, effectively lead the organization as required to support staff and advance its mission.
•Interpret and monitor all Federal and State employment laws and regulations and execute measures to ensure compliance.
•Provide fair and consistent interpretation and application of agency personnel policies and identify need for revisions and new policy development.
•Represent agencies at union negotiations; ensure guidance, interpretation and compliance for five (5) separate collective bargaining agreements; handle grievance resolution and other union issues.
•Develop and implement strategies to effectively attract and hire employees consistent with DEI initiatives.
•Provide guidance and support to employees, supervisors and directors in the handling of employee relations issues, including performance, discipline and other issues.
•Research and recommend competitive and cost-effective benefit plans.
•Determine fiscal requirements for HR and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, reconcile and verify expenditures of funds.
•Provide strategic leadership and creative solutions on compensation related initiatives through analysis of market data and best practices.
•Represent the agencies at employment legal hearings and answer charges regarding employment practices, with the assistance of legal counsel.
•In partnership with the Equity Officer and Corporate Integrity Department, provide opportunities for professional development to create a workplace of continuous learning and opportunities for growth.
•Leadership Human Resources staff located across multiple locations to develop a competent, productive and effective team.
New View Alliance offers a competitive salary of $90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience. In addition, the agency provides very affordable and comprehensive medical insurance, generous paid time off, a 35-hour work week, flexible schedule, and retirement contributions.

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience human resources experience with a significant amount of time in a leadership role required. SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
