Rochester, NY Open Enrollment Needs a Renewal

Program Description:

COVID has forced all businesses to reassess what they are doing and how they are doing it and Open Enrollment is no exception.  Open Enrollment 2021 planning is here and the challenges that COVID present for this area of business can be turned into “renewed” opportunities for education, connection and engagement!  Robin Flaherty will walk us through what has changed, what needs to change and what has not changed with Open Enrollment.

About the Presenter:

Robin Flaherty started her benefits consulting company, Benefit Link, in 1997 after a career as a CPA in the tax department at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).   Benefit Link helps employers and employees take the guesswork out of selecting health insurance plans for companies with less than 100 employees. Robin recently joined Flaherty Salmin CPAs as Practice Leader for the firm’s Healthcare Consulting Practice that serves employers with more than 100 employees that have strategic options for providing affordable, high-quality health insurance to their employees.  Flaherty Salmin CPA’s Healthcare Consulting Practice brings clients the transparent healthcare purchasing system of Health Rosetta (www.healthrosetta.org).  Started in 2015, the Health Rosetta purchasing system was codified by the person who started Microsoft Healthcare.  Robin discovered the work of Health Rosetta at a conference in 2018 and became a Certified Advisor and has been working to bring this healthcare purchasing solution (that saves employers 20% – 40% on their healthcare spend) to her lifelong home of Rochester, New York.
