While working in human resources has its challenges, it’s also a rewarding experience to help your employees achieve their personal and professional goals. Whether hiring and training new employees, evaluating performance and providing feedback, or managing personnel, your job is essential to the organization. Research shows that organizations who invest in their employees’ mental health and wellness see higher rates of job satisfaction, more motivated employees, less absenteeism, and increased camaraderie among teams.
Participants will understand the role they play in taking care of their own mental health as well as learn how to support their employees’ mental health and wellbeing. They will have the opportunity to practice hands-on skills centered around communication, leading with vulnerability, self-care and understand why emotions matter at work.
