Position Description
The Manager of Human Resources is the HR business partner for one of the divisions within U.S. Allergan Medical.   This role will support a client group of ~400  employees to influence and support business decisions and to ensure the people strategy supports the business strategy.  As a HR generalist role, the Manager’s responsibilities will include talent development, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, change management, and performance management. Responsibilities may be expanded to include additional client assignments.

Main Areas of Responsibilities
The Manager of Human Resources will:
• Lead the human resources support and solution delivery of programs, products, services, and advisory-ship.
• Manage the delivery of HR services in the form of talent development, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, change management, and performance management.
• Coach/mentor and consult senior leaders for leadership development, succession planning, and talent management.
• Act as thought partner for organizational development with emphasis on fostering employee engagement,  collaboration and teamwork.
• Serve a broad client base within Allergan by collaborating with subject matter experts within Allergan to identify and implement appropriate solutions for client needs.
• Demonstrated reasoning abilities and sound judgment
• Resourceful and well organized
• Inclusive management style – advocate of working as a team player, good player coach, not afraid to roll up sleeves
• Results-oriented management of a broad range of HR issues
• Business planning and project management skills
• Experience partnering with HR services to address the needs of differing business units while considering alignment with company objectives
• Professional knowledge of employment law
• Specific experience within a learning or organizational development curriculum
• Proven ability to drive organizational change
• Experience and proficiency in functional components of human resources including:  recruitment, engagement, talent development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits
• Ability to travel 20-25%
