Description
McBride & Son Companies, LLC (“McBride”) seeks a part-time Human Resources Coordinator. McBride is an employee-owned homebuilding company based in St. Louis, Missouri.  Over its 70-year history, McBride has attained a position as a market leader and is the largest homebuilder in Missouri. McBride seeks a part-time Human Resources Coordinator to work  approximately 3 days per week at its corporate office in Chesterfield, Missouri providing high level support across all areas of the Human Resources function, including administration of employee benefit programs, wellness program administration, payroll, recruiting, employee onboarding, employee relations, and general support of the Human Resources department. This position requires strong attention to detail and accuracy, a commitment to professionalism, and the ability to follow through and to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Ideal candidates will have at least 2-years of experience in a Human Resources support role.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist with administration of employee benefit programs, including preparation of benefit packets, presentation of information to employees, processing enrollments and changes, and preparation of materials for annual open enrollment meetings.
• Assist with administration of employee wellness program including activity tracking, preparation of announcements, newsletters, presentations, and other communication documents. Event and meeting planning and associated documentation.
• Assist with data entry and processing of weekly and semi-monthly payrolls. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of data.
• Coordination of new hire packets, background checks and drug screens. Assist with new employee onboarding.
• Prepare meeting agendas and assist with drafting HR related documents.
• Prepare and update checklists and spreadsheets.
• Maintain and keep current HR filing systems and tracking systems, both electronic and physical. Ensure security and confidentiality of data.
• Compile data and prepare reports.
• General clerical duties such as copying, filing, scanning, e-mailing, mail sorting, etc.

Requirements include:
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Preference given to candidates with PHR or other HR Certification, or Associate or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources.
• Minimum of 2-years Human Resources support experience in a corporate office environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using ADP Workforce Now payroll and timekeeping system a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment. 
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• The candidate must submit to a mandatory drug test and background check.
