Description
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist:

 Coordinates and oversees the facility recruitment and employee on-boarding process to include pre-employment drug testing, social security number verification, and background checks.
 Ensures facility compliance with regulatory requirements including employee I-9 maintenance and other legislative requirements.
 Collects data and maintains Affirmative Action Plan, (AAP) support documentation, (applicant, hire, promotion, termination) logs and documentation requirements.
 Collaborates with HR manager, and corporate HR group to produce the annual, facility AAP and other compliance  reporting, (EEO-1, Veterans/Disabled Worker, etc.).
 Coordinates benefit administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communication of benefit information to employees.  Works as a liaison between employees, and third party benefit administrator.
 Acts as liaison for Short/ Long Term disability claim process.
 Administers Alchemy employee training platform, (OSHA and Food Safety) for all new hires, and maintains regulatory training register for facility audits.
 Communicates employee 30 and 60 day review periods to applicable department supervisors and managers.
 Administers all associate status changes, pay increases, etc. in ADP payroll/HRIS.
 Disseminates associate information to outside agencies and programs in accordance with company policy.
 Assists with the deployment of organizational training efforts, employee focus groups and other human resource development efforts (Manage-GO, Performance Management, CSR reporting, Climate, Wellness Initiatives, etc.)
 Provide support and counsel to facility employees, supervisors, and managers to mitigate day to day personnel challenges.
 Other related duties as determined by the HR Manager.

Requirements :

 Bachelors Degree in HR or related field, 5-8 years HR experience.
 Working knowledge of HR best practices and current regulations.
 Strong MS Office suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
 Excellent Communication skills, (verbal and written).
 Conflict resolution, coaching, and leadership skills.
 Must have the ability to be flexible with working hours, and willing to accommodate off shift hours as necessary.
 Occasional travel required.
