Description
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a nationally recognized healthcare system serving the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, is seeking nominations and applications for its Vice President of Human Resources, Colleague Experience position.  LVHN includes three full-service hospitals, a children’s hospital, community health centers, more than 1,340 primary care and specialty physicians – including more than 630 employed by the health network and pharmacy, imaging and home health and hospice services.  Its motto is "A Passion for Better Medicine." 

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Vice President is responsible for the oversight and accountability of directing and evaluating Network programs related to a broad range of HR practices, including but not limited to, employee and labor relations issues/case management, policy guidance and advice, work/life balance, employee engagement, reward and recognition, retention strategies, etc. S/he will develop and oversee programs designed to attract, retain and engage employees while ensuring Network compliance with federal, state and local regulations governing employment and labor relations

Candidates will possess ten years executive HR experience in business/industry and a demonstrated track record of developing a high performing HR department that is regarded as a strategic partner for the organization.  Large multi system/entity healthcare or non-healthcare experience required. Labor experience is a must. Experience with applying for and achieving “best employer” recognition is highly desirable. A master's degree in Human Resource Management or related field  and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field isrequired. PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
