Location: Anaheim (by Angel Stadium)
Position:  HR Administrator
Hours: M- F; 8 am – 5 pm
Length of Contract Assignment:  5-7 months (covering for someone who is going out on maternity leave)
Pay: up to $28-30/hr

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting with and managing various human resources activities and projects including development and management of annual training programs (e.g., harassment/discrimination for supervisors); management and implementation of recruitment programs (e.g., online and print advertising) and interviewing of candidates; provide benefits back-up support in the areas of health insurance invoicing (union and non-union); manage all leaves of absence and related issues; handle new hire and termination processing; assist with interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and DOT issues; manage I-9 documents; manage prevailing wage and related compliance programs for all Westside businesses; assist with other human resources programs and projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
•            Recruit and interview candidates for open positions for any of the Westside companies (this includes placing ads, working with hiring managers on job descriptions, job requisitions and related paperwork)
•            Manage Leaves of Absence for all Westside companies
•            General HR duties: New hire and termination paperwork, verification of employment, etc., quarterly training for managers
•            Review, understand and interpret collective bargaining agreements
•            Provide back-up support for all health insurance billing (union and non-union; medical, dental, vision, life, Colonial, TASC)
•            Maintain detailed records of construction projects in the compliance pipeline, including job files, reports, status updates and compliance paperwork
•            Compile payroll documentation as needed for prevailing wage projects’ Certified Payroll Reports submissions for all Westside business on a weekly basis through project completion
•            Maintain and organize compliance of electronic and physical files
•            Handle other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
•            3-5 years prior experience managing multiple projects with tight timelines
•            Ability to multi-task and deal with interruptions
•            Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•            Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
•            Logical and common sense approach when dealing with daily tasks
•            Strong attention to detail and highly organized
•            Able to work with multiple online HR systems (ADP, SAMBA, AWSI, BRMS)
•            1-2 years prior HR experience a plus
•            College Degree preferred
•            ADP Workforce Now experience a plus
