Description
Duties & Responsibilities:


1. Oversees employee health benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and other benefit plans as needed.
2. Partners and works with internal and external resources to administer all benefits plans.
3. Plans and coordinates annual open enrollments, develops communications and implements pre and post enrollment requirements.  
4. Implements approved new plans or changes to existing plans by preparing announcement materials, plan summary documents for communicating plans to employees. Conducts employee meetings and arrange for enrollments as necessary. Serves as benefits specialist to management and employees on existing benefits.
5. Prepares and executes, with legal consultation, benefits documentation, such as original and amended plan, benefit agreements and insurance policies. Partners with insurance carriers and other administrators outside the company to effect changes in benefits program. Ensure prompt and accurate compliance.
6. Ensures company compliance with Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Manages documentation, reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies as necessary. Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and report necessary or suggested changes to management. 
7. Works closely with HR Managers to ensure all locations provide common benefits practices.
8. Manage benefits inquiries and issues to ensure timely resolution with internal and external resources. 
9. Reviews, plans, recommends and implements automated electronic features (paperless) for employee open enrollments through local HRIS system.
10. Project leader and partner for compensation initiatives while working with other HR Managers at each location or country.
11. Project leader for Global HRIS initiatives; partners and coordinates tasks with local HR Managers or country points of contact.
12. Project lead and partner for US and BU Americas HR initiatives including community sponsorships and engagements.
13. All other projects and tasks as required
14. Some travel involved.



Desired Requirements and Experience:


• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum five (5) years Human Resources experience
• Experience working in self-insured plans preferred
• Prior working experience with ADP in self-service environments preferred
• Experience in project lead HR initiatives (Global HRIS, Compensation Administration)
• Proven communication and partnership skills at all levels
• Demonstrated team player and relationship management experience
• Best practice and cultural change agent experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
