  • Leads the corporate recruiting process and manages full-cycle recruiting for entry-level through senior-level positions throughout the Company
  • Develops and implements strategies and processes to recruit and retain top talent to support the Company's growing business regions
  • Maintains a pool of highly-qualified candidates for each of the Company’s business regions
  • Understands hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
  • Builds strong relationships with hiring managers across the organization and understands the diverse business models and operational objectives
  • Educates hiring managers on the recruiting strategies and the roles involved through each acquisition process
  • Leverages job boards, social networking, and other recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network
  • Develops recruiting collateral including marketing tools, social media, digital brochures, etc.
  • Develops field recruiting technologies/tools to include: applicant tracking system, interview scripts and surveys, and pre-employment assessments
  • Tracks metrics for recruiting and retention; including cost per hire, applicant flow, hiring manager compliance, time expended to fill positions, and new employee satisfaction
  • Provides strategies for talent acquisition including employee referral programs, intern placement, temporary staffing needs, veteran outreach, etc.
  • Assists with background clearance process
  • Helps to position Company as an employer of choice within the construction industry
  • Provides recommendations to Human Resources Director and senior management regarding improvement opportunities for the employment life cycle
  • 5+ years full life cycle recruiter specializing in internal corporate talent acquisition or relevant HR experience interacting within all levels of mid-market to large-market companies; construction industry experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and measuring a full range of innovative recruitment and onboarding strategies.
  • Experience with workforce planning, resource and bench management, and salary structure
  • Demonstrated metrics reporting and analytical ability
  • Working knowledge of appropriate employment laws
  • Ability to work independently and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Advanced software proficiency; proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Word and Excel, job posting/hiring boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed, Craigslist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is a salaried/exempt position that will require investment of time and effort beyond a “9-to-5" work week.

Employer and Client references are required.  Candidates must have valid California Driver License and clean driving record.  All final candidates will be subject to a Drug Screen, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.
