NHRA's 21st Annual Charity Auction

The National Human Resources Association (NHRA) offers connection services for HR professionals looking for career development, networking and employment opportunities. As part of our mission, we give back to organizations in our community by hosting an annual Charity Auction.

Through the generosity of area businesses, NHRA was able to donate $14,000 to East House last year. We need your support to exceed last year's donation!

Our local charity this year is: Dress for Success Rochester!

We are pleased to be working with Dress for Success Rochester to raise funds to support the Steps to Success Career Development and Training Program which helps women transition into employment and lays the foundation for future success.

Dress for Success Rochester is a local affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide, an international not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. The Steps to Success Career Development and Training Program works with women who have secured an interview or employment, who then follow the 3-Steps to Success which are:
1) First Impressions Suiting & Coaching, preparation to secure employment
2) HOPE Training, is a 90-day program focused on employment retention
3) Professional Women’s Group, designed for on-going career development and advancement

Because of their proven model and built in accountability, in their first year they successfully provided 300 women with workplace skills resulting in 105 becoming gainfully employed on their way to economic stability.
