When groups of people try to work together to accomplish a common goal (teams), the results are hard to predict. No two people are alike and no two teams are alike. Some teams produce great results and are very aligned throughout the process. There are also teams that produce results, yet have combustible personal dynamics, while other teams don’t produce much besides complaints and infighting.

In this program, attendees will gain insight to practical frameworks that help produce more cohesive, effective and efficient teams. Specifically, attendees will learn:
• How to assess team goals
• How to build teams to hit those goals
• A framework for strengths based development (Innovation Strengths Preference Indicator® - ISPI™)
• Recommended times for homogenous or heterogeneous teams
• How leaders can speed up trust and deepen relationship building

About Our Presenter
Andrew Harrison is the Founder of Bonfire Consulting. He brings a unique background as social innovator, author and researcher of human motivation. Andrew’s research began in 2004 when he exchanged his master’s degree and high paying sales job for a year on the road—traveling the United States interviewing people from varied backgrounds about how they came to discover passion from their work; a passion which inevitably spilled over into the remaining aspects of their lives. His study of human motivation now spans many industries and fields. In 2007, Andrew’s travels and studies brought him to interview Bob Rosenfeld, the founder and CEO of Idea Connection Systems, a global innovation consulting firm. Their meeting was a connection of values and minds that spawned Andrew writing Bob Rosenfeld and Gary Wilhelmi’s book, “The Invisible Element: A Practical Guide to the Human Dynamics of Innovation” (Innovatus Press, 2011). Andrew has been an understudy to Bob Rosenfeld since 2008 and was also an instrumental part of the Idea Connection Systems team that developed the Innovation Strengths Preference Indicator® (ISPI™). Andrew continues to have a strong relationship with Idea Connection Systems as he is their Innovation Ambassador. Andrew’s work has been featured in the Miami Herald, Charlotte Observer, Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, as well as on local ABC, CBS, Fox, and Time Warner TV news programs, NPR radio, and a number of business journals and national magazine publications.
