Description
Organizational Change Management (OCM) for HR Professionals is designed to assist HR Leaders with understanding their role in managing and executing organizational changes.

In this program, attendees will:
  • Learn what OCM is and how it applies to the rapidly changing world we live and work in
  • Discus the change curve and its relevance to how employees process change
  • Discuss strategies to help reduce resistance when employees are navigating through change
  • Acquire tools and processes to help manage change


About our Presenters

Larry O'Meal is a senior executive level HR leader with over 30 years of experience in the areas of organizational development, talent management, strategic HR, executive coaching, and learning and development strategies. His key skills, competencies and experience include leadership/management, strategic planning, change leadership & coaching, as well as talent management. Larry has held a variety of strategic HR and Training & Development roles both nationally and globally. His career includes working at Eastman Kodak Company, Carestream Health, and now Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. Larry also has held several adjunct faculty positions at the Rochester Institute of Technology and Nazareth College for the past 11 years, teaching at the graduate level. He graduated from RIT with his Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts & Science, concentrating in OD and Organizational Behavior, as well as his Masters of Science in Human Resource Development.

Dan Watson is a change management Consultant at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. He has spent 20 years in a global organization managing the leadership development and change management processes. His career has afforded him the opportunity to work with and manage teams across both North and South America, the Middle East and Asia. In his current role at Excellus, Dan is responsible for implementing a new change management process and helping the organization respond effectively to change in a dynamic industry. Dan graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science and received his M.B.A from the William E. Simon School at the University of Rochester. Dan is also certified in Change Management by the Acuity Institute and is pursuing certification in the American Society of Change Management Professionals.
