Join us on November 7, 2023, to hear from Terra L. Fletcher, Author, Consultant and Award-Winning Entrepreneur

Presentation Overview:

Seven in ten employers struggle to find workers with the right technical skills and human capabilities. Couple that with the silver tsunami of older workers retiring and high turnover rates, and you have the perfect storm of talent issues. Do you struggle to recruit and retain the right talent? You’re not alone.

Presentation Objectives:

  • Consider the core strategies of talent attraction: employer branding, recruitment marketing, and organizational culture.
  • Discuss how generational differences, economic conditions, and competition impact talent acquisition.
  • Show you how to find and attract people with interpersonal skills like leadership, empathy, adaptability and advanced cognitive skills like critical thinking, project management, and decision-making.

Speaker Bio:

Terra L. Fletcher is an author, consultant, and award-winning entrepreneur. She is the founder of Fletcher Consulting and author of "Flex Your Communication: 47 Tips for Everyday Success at Work" and "Flex the Freelance: An Unconventional Guide to Quit Your Day Job". Terra has been a marketing consultant and business builder since 2007.

She started her journey with website content and social media marketing. Terra has never stopped learning and growing. She has nearly 250 speaking engagements under her belt and has worked with 150 different organizations. Her strategies benefit individuals, nonprofits, public and private companies.

Her sessions can address the root reason as to why there is reduced sales, high employee turnover, a poor reputation, or a lack of growth. When communication improves, the organization’s reputation is repaired, and the company is differentiated in the marketplace. Morale improves, production improves, and visibility improves.

Terra is a busy professional and volunteer. She also has a family and though she travels often she enjoys the flexibility that her work allows. Terra doesn’t sew, and she’s not so great with power tools, but she can write a letter that will make you cry, design beautiful social media graphics in five minutes, confidently speak to a crowd of a thousand people, and spot typos from a mile away.
