This 45-minute virtual presentation will explore the impact of workplace stress and burnout, provide validation of shared experiences, and offer practical, actionable strategies to support mental well-being during the workday. The session is designed to be engaging and informative without requiring audience participation.

OBJECTIVES

Participants will:

  • Recognize common signs and impacts on mental health and performance
  • Learn practical strategies to manage stress during the workday
  • Identify tools and resources to support ongoing well-being

MEET OUR SPEAKER

Amanda Carson is the Director of Talent Management at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, where she spends her time supporting the people who support everyone else. A veteran and experienced trainer, she has spent the past four years working in the mental health field, helping teams navigate stress, burnout, and the realities of high-impact work. Amanda is a certified Organizational Development Performance Consultant, Adult Mental Health First Aid facilitator, and Welle de-escalation facilitator, and holds a master’s degree in education and a human resources certificate from the University of South Florida. She’s known for keeping things practical, relatable, and just human enough to make the hard topics feel a little easier to talk about.
